Myself and the other elders at Grace Bible went on our annual retreat this past weekend. Elder retreats are a time for us to be enriched in our calling, discuss the health and direction of our church family, and be sharpened for our calling and commission as leaders. This year we used a resource titled ‘Gospel Eldership, Equipping a Generation of Servant Leaders’ as study material for our time. The book is a great book for those who would like to know more about what it means to be an elder in Christ’s local church, or any Christian looking to faithfully serve.
