Charles Spurgeon once said, “The greatest enemy to human souls is the self-righteous spirit which makes men look to themselves for salvation.”
As we gather on Sunday mornings, we have an opportunity to express our insufficiency and our total dependence on Jesus Christ for life an salvation. We are humbled by his grace, instructed by His Word, and encouraged by others–the faith family–that He has provided for us.
On Sundays, we come together, and look to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.(Heb 12:2)
